Nick screamed and bumped into his dad. His dad lost his balance and fell in. Nicks dad flailed about in the water. Nick frantically looked around in the boat for something to get his dad out of the water. The first thing he saw was his fishing pole. Nick grabbed the fishing pole and cast out the line. " Grab the line dad" Nick yelled. His dad grabbed the line, making sure that he didn't gab the hook.Nick pulled him out of the lake and back into the boat. " You were right dad, 6 pm is prime time for catching big fish, or people." Nick was laughing so hard that he almost peed his pants. About 1 hour later his dad tried off they started to fish again. Nick through a nice juicy worm in the open lake. About 30 minutes later Nick hooked a nice bass when he got it in it weighted 13 lbs 10.2 oz the best catch of the day He put another worm on and cast it out. He saw the big catfish again and it was swimming toward him. He got in the ready poss ion and waited for the catfish. Other fish bit the bait but he ignored it. Then the catfish grabbed to the bait he gave a big yank. The hook went through the fish's lip. Nick started to reel it in. It was the biggest fish he had ever had on the end of his line. About 1 hour later the fish was in the boat Nicks dad was worried that the boat would sink because of how much the fish weighed so he started up the boat and zoomed to for the dock. When they got to the dock they had to lift the fish out of the boat and on to the dock.Nick was very proud of himself for how big the fish was and so was his dad.
